Once upon a time there were days where music served as a platform to self expression, extravagance, luxury, and self-indulgence. It was used to move, groove and shmooze the people of the house music world. When the twin towers of New York fell to terrorism so did the soulful house movement as we poured our hearts into the recovery of those who were left to pick up the pieces. Now there is a time where we can come together to celebrate the birth of a new fusion of house between the old and the new, becoming one beat under one soulful house. Bringing together Chicago, New York and San Francisco sounds with a fresh new outlook on love, hope and inspiration. This mix was made to reclaim the "deckadence" in our life, pour chocolate all over our speakers, feed strawberries to our fans, and sprinkle powdered sugar on electronic music that made us who we are today, "DJ's with a heart." Please indulge your senses, open your mind and feel the rhythm pulsate. It's time to dance again. May I start you off with a sultry intro that only my voice can deliver? Welcome to the soulful house lovers den. Leave at your own risk! Positive change awaits you! 1. DJ Kwe - Energy is Released Intro (music composition & spoken word)

You're welcome to chill and fulfil your daily need for soul. This downtempo mix was derived from a set I DJ'd during the Olympic Games here in Vancouver. It was for a press party and they needed music that would appeal to the masses but still unique to pique interest. I called it Lipstick Lounge because of a sexy vision I have. A lounge that appeals to the lipstick ladies, little black cocktail dresses, and heels to do die for. Lifeforce of Bass

This is categorically the most technical and soulful DJ mix I've ever recorded through the tougher times in my life. It has spoken word in the middle of the "Lifeforce of Bass" which takes the second half of this house mix to another level of soul and sass. Track listing is available and this mix is for promotional purposes only. If love a track that you hear, buy it and support your local Producers. Otherwise, listen to a mix that captures time, a back spin and the ultimate fusion of married tracks at the very end. It's the bomb, just dig it!
